Meet the Owner

Coastal Shade Pros was founded by Todd Mason, a lifetime Charleston local. He brings over 25 years of experience in law enforcement and business ownership. Todd holds a degree in Business Management and is known for a high-integrity, customer-first approach. He started CSP to raise the standard for shade solutions in the Charleston Tri-County and Coastal Beaches region.

Family & Community

Todd and his wife, Jean, are proud parents to Caylie, Connor, and Logan. Outside of work, Todd enjoys grilling, golfing, landscaping, and playing baseball in a local men’s league.

The Masons love cheering on the Stingrays and RiverDogs, catching comedy shows or TopGolf nights, and relaxing with their three Boston Terriers: Jax, Tank, and Jade.
